Lockdowns won’t stop the virus but it does stop Life, Business and Freedoms. At some point though, people will have to face the fact that pandemics, plagues and viruses are now part of our future.

Vaccines (let alone their controversial content) will not keep pace with the speed of mutations and the deadly development of more contagious plagues that are already evolving as we speak.

The article just out from Newsroom “The Case for Teaching Islam in NZ Schools” is an alarm bell for all New Zealanders.

It’s, therefore, more than reasonable for me to say “There is an even Stronger Case to Teach Christianity in NZ Schools”.  This is despite in recent times there being such a public outcry to our own founding faith being taught in our own schools with much controversy also surrounding the removal of Jesus’ name out of our Parliamentary prayer.

Yesterday, the Herald published an article titled ‘Act leader David Seymour rejects bishops' euthanasia claims’ where Seymour states “They may have a philosophical view that life belongs to God, and they have a right to their belief. They don't have the right to force it on others," he said in a statement. "If the bishops want their freedoms respected, they need to engage in honest debate that respects others have difference choices from theirs.”

What the hell is wrong with this country? If there is to be an outrage, apart from how Liberal and immoral New Zealand has become, it’s this concoction of pure perversions pumped into our schools on our kids. The latest relationship and sexuality guidelines released by the Education Ministry for primary and high school students is an appalling read.

Over the past weekend, during Labour’s Congress, it was declared that Jacinda is this nation’s Saviour! This is the very reason all true hot-blooded Kiwis must decide at this election to Rise-Up!

Yet, on the other hand, you have the NZ Police giving churches the green-light to hold large services.

Destiny Churches have decided to STAND for all that represents our freedoms and rights as a democracy.  In light of the passing of The Covid-19 Public Health Response Bill yesterday, we firmly stand our ground on what we see as a threat to all New Zealander’s personal freedoms and democratic rights.

Why on the weekend of two of the greatest events to ever happen in human history (the Crucifying of Christ and His Resurrection from the dead three days later) do over 80% of the New Zealand population typically head off to the Beach Bach (hopefully not this lockdown weekend though), to holiday destinations, or they engage in a whole lot of other pursuits?

I find the hypocrisy so loud I can’t hear what the police are saying! I understand their concern for the threats on the Muslims in Christchurch, and rightly so, but the way the Liberal Left Government, in particular Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, act is bizarre to say the least.

Here we go again. Hidden behind one writer’s submission to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, to “bring change to our National Anthem,” lurks a deeper agenda. 

New Zealand is presently faced with the worst poverty statistics we have ever experienced.  It is estimated that 682,500 are presently living in poverty in this country.  That equates to one in seven households.  Take a look right now at your own street…could every seventh house actually be in poverty behind those closed doors?  To make matters worse, one in every four kids now live in poverty.  That is a quarter of our upcoming generation, in poverty – that does not bode well for us as a nation.

This an insightful warning that on our doorstep Islam in Australia is pushing Government for Sharia Law to be enacted.  Imam Tahidi has said in Australia that Muslims and the Liberal Left want to open the Immigration borders and populate Australia with Islam. - Watch this video!

It’s constant and one thing after another. The Labour led coalition could only wonder what could get worse than the rape allegations, repeated sexual misconduct, bullying and much more.

Helen Clark let the Trojan Horse come straight in the front door under her ‘reign’ and now a decade later her successor has opened the flood gates to let the rest through.

The disgraceful sexual assaults and sexual allegations in the Young Labour summer camp recently is a sure sign of an unhealthy sexual-attitude growing in the young of this country.  

While the hui for a Māori-led inquiry into Oranga Tamariki by prominent academics is to be welcomed, it is misguided to say that only the Crown stands in the way of tino rangatiratanga (selfdetermination)

when in fact it is ourselves (Māori) who have failed our children.

It is time for the New Zealand Labour-led government to put aside their prejudice towards people who don’t share their ideology and start listening to solutions.

I find it difficult to reconcile why the NZ Police and Waitangi organisers saw fit to discriminate against their own Māori people today?

Our beautiful ManUp & Legacy people were stopped from crossing the bridge onto the Upper Waitangi Treaty grounds today....why...purely because they proudly wore their ManUp & Legacy branded T-Shirts.

Today, many ManUp & Legacy families made the trip to Waitangi to experience the festivities and celebrate our history with their children.  For many, it was their first visit as they attempt to create new healthy, positive family memories with their children, free from alcohol, drugs, abuse, addictions and more.  So imagine their disappointment to be stopped by the NZ Police and banned from crossing the bridge to enjoy the tax-payer funded entertainment on the Upper Treaty grounds.

Kiwis are entering into dangerous, shark-infested waters if they are naive enough to give Labour complete control after this election. As the saying goes ‘Absolute Power corrupts absolutely’.

The last thing in New Zealand anyone should want is for Labour to govern alone at this coming election.

MMP was all about preventing this type of scenario happening. But then, as long as the economy is humming along, who really cares about the vagaries of politics…right?

Yet, the economy isn’t humming along as it should and for most of us there is this uneasy feeling in the pits of our stomach that the worst is yet to come. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Finance Minister Grant Robertson have developed this uncanny knack to take lockdown levels down at the brink of public uproar brewing.  Or, the COVID-19 Santa Clause, Grant Robertson throws more printed money at struggling business owners. It’s kind of like throwing an anchor at a man overboard.

It should make every New Zealander sit up and take notice!

A Prime Minister who locked a whole nation down illegally. Every company, business, organisation, family and individual! She broke the law, then passes retrospective laws to make her action legal.  So, you break a law…make another law…to make the law you broke...legal.  It’s really corruption!  Some may say it’s ignorance, but isn’t that why they have Queen’s Counsel or legal lawyers around the Prime Minister and Cabinet?  That’s unless, of course, a smaller group of Cabinet Ministers act coup d'état.

While I understand the current calls to pull down statues and monuments that depict the ugly side of our past, we have to be careful that we don’t disdain a history that also holds the hidden pieces of our redemption, along with the unique beauty of two cultures that would eventually assist each other in a shared future.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.”

I believe after Sunday’s successful service at Destiny Church, it proves that churches have been unfairly treated by the Minister of Health, David Clark and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

I am writing this article today in protest to the Level 2 restrictions on churches in New Zealand.  A church can act as responsibly as a cinema when it comes to health precautions and physical distancing.

Our rights as churches under The New Zealand Bill of Rights are being violated, particularly section 15 regarding the freedom to manifest religion or belief in worship, observance practise and teaching either publicly or privately.  In the Bill of Rights the Government must act fairly when making decisions about religious groups and it isn’t doing so in allowing businesses to have more than 10 people on their premises but not churches.

The Covid-19 pandemic threat over the planet has been truly frightening to many.  Most nations are now realizing that a virus spreading rapidly through their people is a deadly killer if not contained.  It has already shut down world economies, put multiple millions of people in cities and towns into total Lockdown with confinement to their homes. How dangerous is this virus, how long will it last, and what’s next? Job losses, business shutdowns, Marshall Law with Police and Military, collapsed economies…and the biggest of them all…fear and uncertainty!

The drama continues – here we have the Serious Fraud Office investigating our major Political Parties and Politicians who are accused of using deceptive, dishonest strategies to funnel money into their party coffers.

What gets me about all this is that we, as a nation, are becoming indifferent and accepting of these practices. How you may ask?  By continuing to support these dishonest parties and power-hungry politicians. 

With this year almost at an end we will begin a new one. This won’t just be a typical New Year though, but the beginning of a New Decade! So…this gives licence for some ‘Creative Imagineering’.

Well if it wasn’t enough for the Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters to be up to his eyeballs in the proverbial crap, the other Deputy Dog now joins him in the same mud.

The Christchurch mass murderer's letters getting out into the public domain are a cause for concern, but even more sinister is the influence this killer will continue to exert on society for the next 30, 40 or 50 years and makes a strong case for re-introducing the death penalty for mass murders who are unrepentant and who continue to be a danger to the public.

Never in modern times has our nation faced such volatility within Maoridom.

Public Statement from Apostle Bishop Brian Tamaki in the wake of the Christchurch massacre.

They can now claim to be the ‘nastiest media trio’ that any country in the world could be cursed with! Stuff, NewsHub and NZ Herald. This is another first for New Zealand, in amongst a clutch of others, but this first is for all the wrong reasons.  Sensationalizing stories and news with half-truths, controversial grabs (often made up by themselves) and this nasty streak that often appears in much of their reporting or writing.

The latest Labour television ad featuring their Māori caucus is the most awkward and cringe-worthy watch.  It immediately portraits how their leader has no faith in their capabilities as Māori, as she insists on being the most dominant figure, front and centre.  Why wouldn’t you allow your Māori Deputy Leader to front this ad for Māori unless of course, his role is just tokenism? These Māori MPs all come across as embarrassingly carefully scripted and constrained.

Hope is the drug we should be peddling, not dope!  We have got a generation of politicians who are peddling death policies, they are building an atmosphere conducive to suicide.  Our politicians are killing our babies (Abortion), they’re killing our brains (Cannabis), and they’re killing our bed-ridden (Euthanasia). 

Another Politician exposed for sexual misdemeanours, this time it is National MP Andrew Falloon (sending a University girl pornographic material, and other women as well).  This incident further highlights the out of control alcoholic culture within Parliament, that MP Judith Collins admits she needs to address amongst her party.

It wasn’t long ago the Labour Party’s summer sex camps (Young Labour) were all over the news not to mention the rape allegations and bullying that was ravaging the party.

With the huge ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests across the United States and the world, New Zealand also joined in the action with their protests in our country with thousands turning out.  Yet, it was an interesting observation to me to see so many white New Zealanders participating in a march for what is essentially black lives suffering under the scourge of racism.

While the George Floyd murder was despicable, New Zealand has long been diagnosed with a systemic racist issue for some time now.  This is supported by official data and research.

It was Dr Martin Luther King Jr who said: “One has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws.”

It’s been surprising the number of Christians that have thrown up Romans 13:1 in criticizing Destiny Church’s ‘Stand for our Freedoms and Rights’ service this Sunday at our church premises.  Interesting that many of the unbelieving crowd of haters have also joined the religious blind in quoting that same Romans 13:1 passage of scripture, a scary alliance in my opinion.

So do the church or believers have such a freedom or role in confronting the State or Government of its day? Or as some are saying, it’s none of our business, trust God and keep praying?

This weekend we celebrate ANZAC day, a moment in our history where World Wars stole away a generation of our young Kiwi Soldiers, either by death or permanent psychological and emotional damage. Many were barely into their twenties.

Who gave Politicians the power of Life and Death?

I did not vote Politicians into Parliament to have them decide who lives and who dies! It’s genocide dressed up in ‘political drag’.

This morning, many commentators including TV Presenter, Duncan Garner, and political MPs, Willie Jackson and Judith Collins, made political blunders, not understanding the severity of the sell off of New Zealand’s resources to foreign interests. These blunders came about while trying to get their heads around Bishop Tamaki’s latest ‘State of Māori Nation’ message. Really, they need to start first by listening to the full message to understand the full context.

On the eve of another Christmas I cannot help but feel that my country (New Zealand) has moved further and further away from its founding faith…Christianity.

Destiny Church welcomes The High Court in Wellington’s decision that the church’s charities be reinstated and, significantly, that the status is backdated to when the original, politically motivated de-registration was carried out by the Department of Internal Affairs.

Media bias is alive and well in New Zealand as websites like The Spinoff and the New Zealand Herald prove themselves totally untrustworthy, as a recent article from so-called journalist Alex Braae – and an unnamed writer for the NZHerald – clearly demonstrates.

It was the worst news I could have received on a fine afternoon.  Just finishing my morning duties, I was feeling like life couldn't be better… until a phone call came about an incident involving my long-time childhood cousin Fred. He had committed suicide! He had taken his sports car out on the road in a rage of the moment and purposefully smashed it into a cattle truck with an explosion of fire and debris all over the road. He did the unthinkable! He took his own life in the most horrific way.

Today on World Indigenous Peoples Day should be a day to reflect on the inequalities that have given rise to the occupation at Ihumātao, and similar occupations around the globe, including Mauna Kea in Hawaii.  This moment in time presents an opportunity to finally bring deep healing to generational hurts that have plagued our indigenous peoples for decades.

More than 7,000 New Zealand babies are sacrificed on the altar of so-called ‘women’s rights’ every single year.
